Summer in the sun? No? Not us either. But we don't have to have sun to have fun, do we?
We left for Trondheim on the 26th of July and the rain started immediately in southeast Norway. We left the rain behind, though. Well it followed us a while, but we had great weather the entire time we were in Trondheim. On the way back went took the route through Sognedal. It was truly an adventure. Great scenery and very winding roads! I hope to get some pictures up in a new spotlight gallery soon (or as soon as possible).

Well, after a break of about a year and a half, we're back in business. I really hate making excuses, so... I won't.
We have had a great summer vacation despite the less than "summerly" weather we have had in Norway. We drove up to Trondheim so that Ann-Louise could take a look at her new place of abode at NTNU. Yes, my baby is moving out. She got accepted to NTNU's Technical Cybernetics program. All of her hard work at high school has paid off. We are, of course, very proud of her!
Since Ann-Louise is moving I decided that I needed to find out what's what in Facebook, which is her preferred medium of communication. It's pretty cool being able to look up old friends, but I am still sceptical about the concept. Since I don't have a lot of free time, I probably won't be the most active Facebook user in the world. So you all will have to be patient with me.
I hope to blog every now and then, as well as, add a witty one-liner or words of wisdom here and there. Our main photo gallery is in the process of being upgraded, so I have taken down the link to it.
I am also thinking about making the site available to the public so that you all don't have to log in.
Tare care and drop us a line - if you get the time.

Not that I am depressed or anything, but I always get a little melancholy at the beginning of the new year. This year I had off 2 weeks and I mean no work (in contrast to previous years where I worked a lot at home even though I "had off"). So, it was a great vacation. But, great vacations have a tendency to make it more difficult to go back to work.
I must admit that it took me a couple of days to get my brain in gear, and several times during the first two weeks I felt like the person in the image over. But, as mentioned on the front page, I followed my two mottos:
"Take one day at a time."
"Focus on the positive things in life!"
Now, I am almost back on track. Busy, but back on track. Well, I need to get back to updating the rest of the web site. I'll be back....
